Nice to Meat buys all its regular pork from farms certified by the Dutch Sustainable Pork Value Chain Association (KDV). KDV promotes sustainable and responsible pig farming. From its very first day in 1997, it has taken an innovative and pragmatic approach to striking a balance between animal welfare, the environment and price. The concept has been tried and tested with more than 175 associated pig farmers and the abattoirs, wholesalers, butchers, retailers, caterers and meat producers they work with.
